The Youth Sports Quarters are the U.S. Mint's Youth Sports Coin Collection: 20 new quarters from 2027 through 2030, five a year, each honoring a sport played by American youth, plus a Paralympic sports half dollar each year. The 2027 coins show baseball, golf, soccer, softball and snowboarding, and their final designs were published on 26 October 2026.

How the series works
Congress created the program in the Circulating Collectible Coin Redesign Act of 2020, enacted in January 2021 as Public Law 116-330. The same law created the American Women Quarters of 2022 to 2025 and the 2026 coins for the nation's 250th anniversary. Starting 1 January 2027, the reverse of the quarter must be "emblematic of sports played by American youth," one sport per coin.
The Treasury Secretary picks the sports after outreach and consultation with the public, and picks every design after consulting the Commission of Fine Arts (CFA) and after review by the Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee (CCAC). For 2027 the Secretary used the CCAC's recommendation for the Washington portrait and for golf and softball, the CFA's for soccer, and the design both panels chose for baseball and snowboarding.
Where the series fits
The quarter has changed its reverse almost every year since 1999. Youth sports is the next program in that run.
| 1999 to 2009 | 50 State Quarters, then the District of Columbia and U.S. Territories quarters |
|---|---|
| 2010 to 2021 | America the Beautiful Quarters, 56 national parks and sites |
| 2021 | Washington Crossing the Delaware |
| 2022 to 2025 | American Women Quarters, 20 designs |
| 2026 | Semiquincentennial quarters for the nation's 250th anniversary |
| 2027 to 2030 | Youth Sports Quarters, 20 designs |
